ECJ ruling on EU-US data-sharing deal

The European Court of Justice has ruled that a transatlantic agreement used by thousands of companies to transfer data between the EU and US does not protect the privacy of European citizens. This court ruling is significant as it also sets the standard for future data sharing agreements.
