The US and UK data sharing agreement to combat crime

In October, the US and UK will start a new era of cooperation by officially bringing into force a cross-border data sharing agreement called the “Data Access Agreement. This agreement aims to tackle the threat of serious crime by giving law enforcement investigators in both countries access to vital data held by service providers. This will help law enforcement to gain more effective access to evidence to prosecute offenders.
