Through the pandemic we have seen that sharing healthcare data is not only valuable to us as individuals, it can also help medical professionals, researchers, and policy-makers derive critical insights and steer their decision-making. Yet, healthcare data is personal, and thus often sensitive, or even confidential. Finding the balance between privacy and data usability is crucial to make data sharing in healthcare possible.
