At the annual European Week of Regions and Cities (11 – 14 October) cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
This year, the Support Centre for Data Sharing will host a panel session on data sharing and data spaces with speakers from the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), Team Data Spaces, and Mastercard on 13 October at 17:30 CET.
The EU is committed to becoming a leader of the digital transition by creating common European dataspaces that encourage data sharing. Demystifying data sharing, setting up compliant and viable governance frameworks, encouraging trust and protecting data sovereignty is vital to achieve this. In our session, we will share knowledge and gain input from the panel speakers and the audience, focusing on challenges faced at regional and city-level.
