European Commission invests nearly €2 billion in the Digital Europe Programme

The European Commission has allocated nearly €2 billion in funding for the Digital Europe Programme. The programme aims to bolster Europe's technological sovereignty and bring digital solutions to market for the benefit of citizens, public administrations, and businesses.

Separated into three work programmes, these include strategic investments needed to achieve the goals in making this Europe's Digital Decade. A major component of the Digital Europe Programme is the deployment of common data spaces in various sectors, to foster cross-border data sharing for businesses, including small and medium-size businesses (SMEs) and start-ups, and the public sector.
