Lepsze wykorzystanie i znajomość danych pozwala nam lepiej zrozumieć i pokonywać globalne wyzwania. Aby wykorzystać tę możliwość, dane muszą być udostępniane w sposób bezpieczny i chroniący prawa i interesy obywateli i przedsiębiorstw. Istnieje już wiele sposobów udostępniania danych. W szczególności tworzenie przestrzeni danych w ramach europejskiej strategii w zakresie danych ma kluczowe znaczenie dla wspierania ekosystemu udostępniania danych, współpracy międzysektorowej i transgranicznej oraz innowacji w Europie.
“Support Centre for Data Sharing” (SCDS) to inicjatywa finansowana przez Komisję Europejską, mająca na celu ułatwienie udostępniania danych i połączenie wiedzy fachowej praktyków i naukowców zajmujących się tą tematyką. Gromadzimy, opracowujemy i rozpowszechniamy praktyczne wskazówki dotyczące udostępniania danych, które implikują nowatorskie modele, stawiają czoła wyzwaniom prawnym lub technologicznym oraz zapewniają praktyczne, prawne i technologiczne wsparcie.
