Über SCDS
Die verbesserte Nutzung und Kenntnis von Daten ermöglicht es uns, globale Herausforderungen besser zu verstehen und zu bewältigen. Um diese Möglichkeit zu nutzen, müssen Daten auf sichere Weise ausgetauscht werden und die Rechte und Interessen von Bürgern und Unternehmen geschützt werden. Es gibt bereits viele Ansätze zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Daten. Insbesondere die Schaffung von Datenräumen als Teil der europäischen Datenstrategie ist der Schlüssel für ein Ökosystems für Datenaustausch, das sektor- und grenzübergreifende Zusammenarbeit sowie die Innovation in Europa fördert.
Das „Support Centre for Data Sharing“ (SCDS) ist eine von der Europäischen Kommission geförderte Initiative zur Förderung des Datenaustauschs und zur Verknüpfung der Expertise aus Praxis und Forschung. Wir sammeln, entwickeln und berichten über praktische Ansätze zum Datenaustausch, die neuartige Aspekte einbeziehen und rechtliche oder technologische Herausforderungen überwinden.
