European Court’s decision on EU-US data sharing agreement

On 16 July 2020, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) delivered its decision in the case of Data Protection Commissioner V Facebook Ireland Ltd, Maximillian Schrems and others (Case C-311/18), also known as the “Schrems II case”.
