The effectiveness of the coronavirus tracking apps depends on how many people will download it

It is more than two weeks since all Isle of Wight residents were invited to test the NHS app at the heart of the government's test, track and trace strategy. The big concern was how many people would download it. Epidemiologists suggest that for the UK, about 60% of the population needs to install and use the software for it to live up to its full potential.
